Atomic Linelists

Linelists for different spectral ranges have been extracted from the Kurucz (CD-ROM 23) linelist GFALL. These linelists contain only transitions between atomic levels with measured energies. For some applications, it is necessary to supplement these lists with lines between predicted energy levels for Fe and Ni ions (Kurucz CD-ROM 22). Kurucz limelist has been updated with improved oscillator strengths extracted from the NIST Atomic Spectra Database. See the history of the linelist updates.

Molecular Linelists

We have created in the format required by Synspec near-UV and visible molecular linelists from Kurucz CD-ROM 15. These linelists contain the lines of 10 diatomic molecules: H2, CH, NH, OH, MgH, SiH, C2, CN, CO, and SiO, and are appropriate to model the spectrum of F and G-type stars.
